Skiing with Bočis

On the 9th of March we sett off once more to Lipno but this time our main goal was skiing.
We went by a train at 5 PM to České Budějovice and from there to Český Krumlov by a bus.
From the station we went to our villa. Before we went to sleep, we ate pizza for dinner and
played some games. The next day we got to the slope. We had a ski instructor, Kuba that was
skiing with us the whole day. He even taught us soem tricks, for example „clock“ and

Our Wander Club in the Jizera Mountains

On 21st and 22nd of October, our Wander Club took off to Hejnice, a small town in the Jizera Mountains. On the first day, we went to see the Smrk Mountain (a.k.a. the “Spruce” Mountain). At 1124 meters above the sea level, it is the highest mountain in the Jizera Mountains. It is a part of the Jizera Mountains Protected Area, right on the corner of Czech, German and Polish borders.
